Many of you will know that recently there was a Discord server impersonating us, using our old Vanity link to trick people into joining their fake server.
The purpose of that fake server is still unclear to me but we've had reports that they were offering "paid moderator roles" (many apparently applied for jobs by submitting resumes etc). I suspect the end-game was to gain access to those individuals accounts in the hope they might be mods on other servers giving the scammers more access, or it could be a simple phishing attempt to the individuals who applied for those non-existent jobs.
